Under the motto 'Read with others,' the event —organized by the Filba Foundation— will take place from November 7 to 9 in various locations across Buenos Aires, with free activities for the whole family.

On Friday, November 7, as part of the ALIJA 'Territories of Encounters' program, there will be a day of training and exchange for reading mediators, teachers, and librarians at Los Pompas Club of Arts (Av. Brasil 2640).

The Children's Literature Festival FILBITA celebrates its 15th edition with three days dedicated to childhood and shared reading. The festival will close at 6:30 PM with a concert by ATR (A Todo Rap), along with CH Respira and participants of the 'Writing with Rhythm' workshop.

Since 2011, FILBITA has become a key event on the Argentine cultural calendar, bringing together hundreds of authors, illustrators, and mediators around the word, imagination, and reading as a shared experience.

Saturday and Sunday will be filled with a wide range of activities, from storytelling and readings to workshops on zines, writing, illustration, poetry, music, drawing, short films, and activities for babies.

The festival will feature authors such as Luciana De Luca, Mario Méndez, Patricia Strauch, Noe Garín, Jimena Rodríguez, Laura Ávila, Luciano Saracino, Eleonora Garriga, Matías Moscardi, and Jimena Tello, alongside publishers including Fondo de Cultura Económica, Loqueleo, Limonero, Lecturita, Siglo XXI, Ojoreja, Periplo, Ralenti, La brujita de papel, and Pípala.

The festival will also host the launch of Filba Foundation's new program, Sinfín, a social and cultural project that promotes the circulation of books and reading in communities, schools, healthcare spaces, and social institutions.

Among the highlights of Saturday are the workshops 'Palabrerío,' 'From Sound to Paper,' 'Short Routes,' 'Small Extraordinary Things,' 'Giant Hunters,' and the readings 'All the Seeds,' 'Illustrating Galeano,' and 'Winter Swallow.'

Starting at 7:00 PM, as part of 'Museum Night,' writer Mario Méndez will present 'Sinister Dusk at Filbita' with horror stories, and the closing event will feature Luciano Saracino, Victoria Rodríguez Lacrouts, and Eugenia Sasso with 'Songs and Stories to Call the Moon.'

On Sunday, November 9, new workshops will be added, including 'My Forest: A Miniature Book,' 'Let the Loser Win,' 'Word Kiosk,' 'How to Create a Travel Journal,' 'How to Illustrate Literary Texts,' as well as activities like 'String Puppets,' 'Wind Rounds,' and the award ceremony for the 'Story Hunter' contest.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be an exhibition, workshops on oral storytelling and reading in vulnerable contexts, a conversation on community reading experiences, and the dialogue 'Read with Others' with Belén Campero and Carlos Skliar.
